The Chard Flyer was launched in September 2017. Starting at 24 pages, this has quickly grown to be 44+ pages per edition. Distribution is throughout the TA20 postcode, covering Chard town, and the rural areas surrounding Chard as far east as Windwhistle Ridge, West to The Blackdown Hills, South to Winsham, and north almost to Donyatt. That is a total of 10,200 addresses.

 

The publication contains adverts and features for local businesses and service providers. There are contributions from local commentators, nostalgic photos of "old Chard", Sudoku puzzles and a centre spread map of the postcode pinpointing the advertisers and other places of interest, facilities, etc.
